Matt Miller I have lost all due respect for you after reading your most recent article on the Touch Diamond. How in the world can you say the device touch flow is fluent? How about you sharing what version of the ROM you are using? Sorry but does this have anything to do with the freebies HTC continually throws you? I am shocked and dissappointed!

Maybe Matt has newer version of ROM or newer version of hardware? David please write down your versions before sending your diamond back!
Dave,
I thought your comments about Matt were a little harsh. However, I thought you might interested in this: I posted the following question for Matt on his HTC Touch Diamond review on his ZDNet website:
How do you respond to the claim that the credibility of this device review is compromised by the fact that you receive gifts from HTC and/or Microsoft?
My post disappeared four times. At first I didn’t care but then it started to bother me that my post was apparently being removed even though there was nothing vulgar or inappropriate about it. Then, I was no longer able to log in into the ZDNet site, it simply failed to accept my information. I registered again under a different email address, posted the same question again and it removed again. Then, I tried to post it one more time and my user name and password were invalid again!
I am starting to think that someone is trying to avoid answering the question.
Shawn
WOW Shawn!! You are experiencing what many never see or have a platform to let others know. Its called blogging! Matt obviously is afraid that people will see he is completely biased due to the fact he has received freebies from HTC (HTC Advantage!) I would be more than welcome to post your comment on my blog!! Please send it up and Ill post it front page center!
Dave,
Thanks for the reply. I don’t know why my comments are disappearing but it does not seem like an accident. I emailed Matt directly to see if he would answer the question and if he knew why my comments keep coming down.
You can post my comment if you like, it is listed above and reproduced here, a relatively simple question:
How do you respond to the claim that the credibility of this device review is compromised by the fact that you receive gifts from HTC and/or Microsoft? [re: the HTC Touch Diamond review]
Dave,
It looks like Matt and the usual suspects have posted over on Matt’s blog regarding your post.
I love the way that they all think that they are better than everybody and even have the balls to bring religion into it.
These “so called experts” have nothing better to do then tell each other how great they are and then circle the wagons when someone calls then out on something.
They throw around words like intergrity, respect, and trust and it is obvious that some of these people don’t know the meaning of these words.
I would rather be honest about the products and people I talk about, even if it is not the popular stance, then to sell out and recieve empty praise from empty people.
So while they continue to sugarcoat everything we will continue to acuratelty report on the products, services, as well as the bullshit that some blogs spout.

Well the time has come to start my personal blog. Wikipedia defines the word blog, a place to provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. For me this will be a place where I share my experiences with all of you on what is involved behind the scenes of running my website

Dave I have lost credibility for him. He used to report with his unbiased thoughts now its all about who bribes who..
