Bulletin Board Systems were a blast back in 1984-88 and whatya know I was pretty established running Dacon’s Deluxe BBS which I ran a group called The Worlds Greatest Importers.. My BBS would be a place were people would import games from around the world and we would collaborate.. Well I found the splash screen on the web!! Brings back some great memories!

The “good-ol-days”.
I also ran a BBS using RoboFX - a nice GUI BBS system (Chicago’s Internet SuperServer with over 6000 unique users worldwide ). Ran that from 1990 - 1994 and grew to a full blown ISP. Dropped the BBS entirely and the rest is history.

BBS - I remember them well.
I used fidonet to send internet email. I used “qmail” on pcboard bbs systems. all kinds of stuff that seem archaic now!

Well the time has come to start my personal blog. Wikipedia defines the word blog, a place to provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. For me this will be a place where I share my experiences with all of you on what is involved behind the scenes of running my website

Sweet! An artifact. (:
