I really don’t like my iPhone - it’s great for watching videos but as a phone it’s so bad that I don’t use it anymore and when I try to use the Explorer, it’s a really bad experience , so much so that I put it away and go back to my IPAQ.
Windows Mobile does not lend itself to a great ‘phone’ experience. The interface is aging and kludgy when it comes to phone interaction. Both OEM’s and MS know this as they scramble to make WM devices ‘iPhone like’ with features like large icon selections, flick-scrolling and such.
As far as the interface goes, even the mighty TyTn II has been known to bog down in peformance from time to time.
Give me an iPhone with a few of the features I mentoned above and I would be so over WM.
Well the time has come to start my personal blog. Wikipedia defines the word blog, a place to provide commentary or news on a particular subject, such as food, politics, or local news; some function as more personal online diaries. You know Dave, I am waiting for 2nd gen iPhone with 3G and then I will jump ship!
By that time there should be plenty of 3rd party apps. You know, whenever I can it make it a point of using my iTouch whenever I can find open wifi spots, even though I have 3G on the Treo.
The touch is such a pleasure to use. BTW, I just renewed my 4Smartphone account. They did require me to re-up for cash (create a new account), but they did credit me for my unused portion of my 2003 account.
Yep, I think an exchange sync, along with BT stereo (which can be done on the existing iPhone), and 3G would be enough for me to ditch WM after 7 years.
