Back in February 2007 I broke a story that got a ton of coverage where I was informed by a Microsoft Windows Mobile Marketing Manager that the Prada would be running WM6! Well the copycat site MobilitySite and our friendly retired school principal Jack Cook took some cheap shots at me. He wrote:

Prada - Nice but NOT running Windows Mobile

“There was a small website that was showing a picture of LG’s Prada and indicated that the LG iPhone look alike was going to run Windows Mobile 6. Supposedly a Business Week article “spilled the beans” and a light bulb went off … I think the bulb was already dead because if you check out the Prada video … it’s not Windows Mobile 6 but it is a SLICK looking device.”

Now today I see they totally changed their spin (I guess their sources aren’t too good!)

LG Windows Mobile Phone Coming to Europe

“Remember all the rumors about the LG Prada being a Windows Mobile phone back when the Prada dominated the blogosphere? You know, before the iPhone. Well this appears to be the one that leaked in those photos. According to Akihabara News, the lucky folks over in Europe should get this sexy looking phone by the end of the year.”

I guess Jack and Chris spin their stories however they feel fit. Either way I guess thats why they both mimic everything we do.. Hey Chris did you reach out to Verizon yet to get your Motorola Q9m? Also btw, the Prada phone will be exclusive to Verizon with a launch date of Dec 07.. I bet you I am right..
